How to Keep the Passion & Romance Alive in Your Marriage

In Ellen Kriedman’s book Light His Fire, her core belief is that men fall in love because of the way they feel about themselves when they are with their wife. Ms. Kriedman believes that if you don’t have a love affair with your partner, someone else will! Here are some tips to keep the flame burning in your own “house of love”.
· Tell your mate how glad you are that he/she is a part of your life and how lucky I am to have him/her.
· Tell your mate that I love him just the way he/she is and that I wouldn’t trade him/her for any other man/woman in the world.
· Compliment your spouse often for his/her physical attributes (anything you find sexy).
· Compliment your spouse for the things he/she does (from playing with the children, to fixing the car)
· Compliment your spouse for the things he/she says (if funny, complimentary, a dreamer, a problem solver, a verbal person, non verbal, etc.).
· Compliment your spouse for the things he/she stands for (honesty, loyalty, dependability, a risk taker, confident, etc.).
· Make a list of some famous character who are especially masculine (ex. For men: Tarzan, King Kong, Rocky, Rambo, Superman, Casanova, Adonis) or feminine (ex: for Woman: Cat Woman, Betty Boop, Jessica Rabbit, Wonder Woman, Holly-Go-Lightly (Breakfast at Tiffany’s), Venus). Find opportunities to compare your spouse to one of these characters, saying something like, “Oh honey, you’re as strong as the Incredible Hulk,” after he does something that requires masculine strength, or if she does something that shows her feminity.
· Listen to your spouse, with your heart, not your head.
· Validate his/her feelings when he or she has a bad day at work. Just offer understanding without giving advice.
· Avoid constructive criticism or trying to “fix everything”.
· Touch your spouse – every single day!
· When your spouse comes home from work or being away for the day, greet them with a 10 second kiss (let them know you would like to try this as an experiment. It will make you feel closer the rest of the evening!).
· Wear, use or display a gift from your spouse.
· The next time your spouse makes a suggestion, follow it.
· Remember to be a lover at least part of the time…

im so sorry to hear that but it crearly indicates tha that guy ismno more interested in u.but u cant say that he has a girl friend because like u said that helives miles apart frm u and u dont anything abt whats going on in his life. give him some space and benefit oof doubt. maybe hes having some serious problems and cant take outtime to communicate with u. what u shud do is try to talk him on phone and find out the reason of his behaviuor and if u sense that the guy is no more interested in u then what can u possibly do abt it. u cant force anymoe to love u. move on find some one else. maybe hes not good enough for u and surely its not the end of the world. i wish u all the very best

hi all, was jus browsing through, and skimmed read through, me and my husband have been married for just over a year now but were together for three years before that, we have a 6 month old son and am now 2months pregnant, and I can honestly say that we are still strong since day one, and nothing has changed, as in physically showing our love to eachother and emotionally, why??? I believe with all honesty is due to our faith and reliance in our Heavenly Father, and how we dont see “LOVE” for eachother as an emotion, but something God had intended from the very beginning and ‘believing’ it… does become hard at times, but choose those moments to be there for eachother… God Loves You for who you are and he made you all in his image… start seeing eachother as he does and I’m telling you, you will see the beauty within your husband or wife forever till death do you part, and ‘nothing’ can ever take the happiness you both deserve away… and to the ladies, jus a lil something I always do with my husband which has worked since day 1… be submissive to him, not as an order, but because you love him…

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

I now know quitting smoking can be harder than you can imagine. I introduced myself to smokes when I was a kid. It absolutely was the dumbest mistake of my life. At present I’m older and I have emphysema. I experimented with all of the stop smoking products yet none of them did the trick. My last hope is a e cig in the end.

I think that may have been my personal bias coming into play. Cobra has been one of my favorites for a long time and even though I recognize how important the original Rocky is to the whole series, I found the movie itself to be a tad slow and boring. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good movie mind you just a personal preference BTW, Stallone only got paid 30K to do Cop Land.
