St Valentine’s Day
IN EVERY YEAR,
WE GIVE SO DEAR,
COMING FROM THE HEART,
RIGHT FROM THE START,
SHOWING HOW MUCH DEVOTION,
USING CANDY, CARDS, & POTIONS,
FLOWERS, SONGS, & PRETTY THINGS,
RUBIES, DIAMONDS, & GOLDEN RINGS,
EMOTIONS OF A WOMAN & HER MAN,
TEST OF TIME YOU’LL UNDERSTAND,
THERE IS NOTHING SO GREAT,
COME-BY-CHANCE, GOODWILL OR FATE,
THIS THING WE CALL LOVE,
SOFT; LIKE A WING OF A DOVE,
BEAUTY; LIKE A GENTLE SMILE,
MEMORIES; LASTING A LONG WHILE,
WE EXPRESS OUR LOVE IN MANY WAYS,
UPON FEBRUARY 14TH, ST. VALENTINE’S DAY.
